Christmas presents part 2.

This pair of mittens I made for my uncle. I knitted them with Novita's 7 Veljestä Polkka, in foresty green colours. The pair was knitted flat and then sewn together later. This was the first time I've ever knitted mittens this way and I really liked it! The only downside for me was not knowing the size they would turn out and once finished, the mitts looked quite big even though I knitted them slightly smaller than the original size in the pattern. I have not heard any complaints from the new owner though, yay!

The Norwegian style jumper I knitted for my sister's little pug, Valtteri. Isn't he just adorable? Unfortunately the jumper turned out a little too small, even though my sister sent me the measurements.. Mental note: better calculating next time Anni! For this project I used Yarnfair's Double Knit yarn in white and red.
